Rich founded Forge & Thread Supply Company, formerly Custom Print Products - Pittsburgh, with a background in medical administration and graphic design. What started as a hobby became a shop built on attention to detail, quality and a drive to push what is possible in custom products.

    Approve the proof

    You see it before we make it. Check every letter: once you approve, it goes into production.

    We make it in house

    Engraved, stitched, printed or fabricated in our Pittsburgh shop. No middlemen.

    Pick up or ship

    Most jobs ship in 3 to 5 business days, embroidery in 1 to 2 weeks. Rush? Ask first.

How long does production take?

Most orders ship in 3 to 5 business days. Embroidery takes 1 to 2 weeks. Same-day DTF is often possible: ask first.

I need it faster. Can you rush it?

Usually, yes. Contact us before you order with the date you need it and we will confirm it before you pay.

Do I get a proof?

Yes. Custom work gets a proof to approve before anything is made. Check every letter: once you approve it, we make it.

What files should I send?

Vector files (AI, EPS, SVG, PDF) or a 300 DPI PNG give the sharpest results. Have a sketch or a blurry logo? Our design service can rebuild it.

How do design services work?

Send your idea, images and notes. We reply within 24 hours with a design quote. Design includes up to two proofs, and you own the finished design and files. Not needed for a simple photo or text on a product.

Do you do large orders for departments and businesses?
